Due to Shaun's demanding career right now, he really doesn't have much of a social life. Occasionally, when he has the opportunity to date, it's usually with girls he's known for a long time, friends he can call on at the last minute who understand him. Debra Clinger of TV's "American Girls", Carrie Fisher of the movie "Star Wars", and his best friend Debby Boone, are a few he keeps company with. Shaun says it's easier to date girls he considers good friends, because he isn't able to start a relationship at this point in his life, and give her the time and attention she deserves. But, don't think Shaun doesn't want that kind of love to develop- he's looking foward to the day when he's more established in his career, and it's less hectic and time consuming. Then he'll find that certain someone and at last, have a long-lasting and very special relationship.
At concerts or other personal appearances, Shaun comes into contact with many beautiful girls who are madly in love with him. And , given the chance, he would fall deeply in love with them, too. He'll often notice someone who really catches his eye, and wish he could walk over and talk for awhile. But, Shaun figures there's really no use. "Why start something you can't finish?", has always been his motto.
When he's singing love ballads on stage, (that's he's written with you in mind), he gazes out into the audience and sings to the girl in the first row, or the second row or the third! He'd like to bring her up on stage with him and look into her eyes as he sings. That's Shaun's romantic style and he's anxious to cultivate it, but again- there's no time.
So, for all of you who wonder if Shaun woukd ever dream about you, or even give you a secind thought, the answer is yes! There are lots of girls he remembers from time to time, and you could very well be one of them!
If you happen to be at one of Shaun's concerts, and you notice him glancing your way, don't worry if you feel the urge to run up and give him a big hug, - remember, Shaun's heart's desite is to do the same thing, and one of these days, he may beat you to it. Now that's one thing you'll never forget!
