Did You Know...?
*Shaun has done more than just writing and producing with his television shows. He was in the parade scene in costume in the"American Gothic" pilot, but his footage ended up on the cutting room floor. He has also done voice-overs in "Hollyweird" and "The Agency". Shaun's voice was also heard on the old "Cover Me" website. He did the introductions to the episodes "Our Mr. Brooks" & "Fever Flip".
*It was rumored that the "Hardy Boys" line in the "American Gothic" episode "Requiem" was an ad-lib by Gary Cole. It was also rumored that Shaun was on the set that day, and got such a kick out of this, that he and Sam Raimi decided to leave it in the final take.
*It was also rumored that Shaun got his inspiration for the movie "Strays" from his wife's cat sitting on top of his computer monitor, glaring at him menacingly.
*Shaun's wonderful voice can be heard singing "Someday At Christmas" in the opening sequence of "The Agency" episode, "Trust".
*Following the tragic events of 9/11, the original pilot of "The Agency" was re-written and re-cast Gloria Reuben as Liza Fabrizzi in place of original cast member Andrea Roth. It was shown as the 5th episode of the series.
*Ivar Brogger (from "The Agency" & "Invasion") played Edward Lyons' father when Shaun appeared in "Blood Brothers".
*Shaun knows good acting when he sees it, and he uses some of the same actors in many of his series:
Paige Turco: Gail Emory-"American Gothic"/ Terri Lowell- "The Agency"
Stephen Lee: Frank Arno- "Cover Me" episodes: "Perfect Frank" and "The Book Of Danny"/ Carl McKittrick- "Invasion" episode: "Unnatural Selection"
Ivar Brogger: Agent Holland-recurring character in "The Agency"/ Father Jeffrey Scanlon-"Invasion"
