Shaun The Actor

Shaun's Televsion Series
Shaun began his onscreen acting career in the American Film Institute's short film Born Of Water,
as Christopher Hewlin in 1976. Later that same year, Shaun got the part of Joe Hardy in the popular weekly series The Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew Mysteries. In 1980, Shaun portrayed Dave Stohler in the critically acclaimed, short lived television version of Breaking Away. Throughout the 80's, Shaun guest starred in other television shows such as Murder She Wrote, Matlock and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. In 1987, Shaun
did a 3 month stint on the soap opera General Hospital
as the handsome, young drifter Dusty Walker.
Shaun's Television Movies
Shortly after the end of The Hardy Boys, Shaun made his first made for T.V. movie, Like Normal People, in which he portrayed a mentally handicapped young man, Roger Meyer. In the late 80's Shaun made 2 more movies. He played the slick, gun slinging cowboy, Cotton in Texas Guns aka Once Upon A Texas Train and the abolitionist Edmund Parker, Jr.
in the sequel to Roots entitled Roots The Gift.
Shaun's Theatrical Roles
In between his television guest roles and appearances, Shaun took to the stage, performing in the theatre. He performed in many plays throughout the 80's including The Subject Was Roses, Mass Appeal, Diary Of A Hunger Strike, Barefoot In The Park, Dangerous Music, the televised production of
Breakfast With Les And Bess, and quite a few others.
More recently, in 1995, Shaun performed for the first time with his half brother David Cassidy in the sensational Broadway musical Blood Brothers.
