Over My Dead Body to CBS that same year. Later in 1991 Shaun wrote and co-produced the movie Strays for USA Network. This thriller was one of the highest rated T.V. movies for USA that year. While working with his half brother David Cassidy on the Broadway production of Blood Brothers, Shaun wrote the syndicated feature Midnight Run For Your Life, the sequel to the motion picture. Shaun returned to the CBS production team in 1995 with the critically acclaimed, dark series American Gothic. Three years later with the help of Beauty and the Beast producer Ron Koslow, Shaun created and co-produced ROAR for Fox Television. The show lasted for only 8 episodes in the U.S. but the other 5 episodes produced were shown abroad. Later that same year, Shaun and New York Undercover creator Dick Wolf co-created the short lived series Players (featuring Rapper Ice T). Shaun celebrated the new millenium by releasing Cover Me for USA Network. Its debut episode Just Act Normal was the most watched series premiere in USA's history. In 2001, Shaun teamed up with producers Michael Frost Beckner, Wolfgang Petersen and Gail Katz to bring a series called The Agency to CBS about the inner workings of the CIA. Most recently, after a long stint with Universal Studios, Shaun signed on with Warner Bros. TV, as one of the executive producers of the new hit series, Cold Case. He then took a brief break and worked on post production of the WB's short but great series, Tarzan. In the fall of 2004, Shaun joined executive producers McG and Stephanie Savage in the WB's night time soap opera, The Mountain, which only lasted half a season. In September of 2005, Shaun premiered the fantastic sci-fi/drama Invasion. Sadly, the series only lasted one season, despite a massive effort on behalf of fans of the show to save it. |
